Koyo PLC DirectLOGIC

Koyo PLC DirectLOGIC

We independently developed the KOSTAC PLC, a workplace-oriented stage-type programmable controller, and are providing this easy-to-use product to customers around the world. An identical-concept SFC programming method is used in PLC IEC/JIS standards, testifying to the international recognition of its superiority.

DirectLOGIC 205
If your application requires the flexibility of a modular control system, a DL205 PLC is the lowest cost, most versatile solution you'll find. Check out all our modules, bases and communication options.
AC/DC discrete input/output, up to 32 points per mobule
10 amp relay out
12-bit and 16-bit analog inputs and outputs
Temperature inputs(t/c and RTD)
Data communications, including CUnet, serial and Ethernet modules
Counter input/pulse output
Remote I/O master and slave
H2-CTRIO, 4-channel high speed counter/pulse output
H2-EBC, Ethernet slave base controller

DirectLOGIC 305
The DL305 series is a small modular PLC that has been marketed by various name brand PLC manufacturers for over 20 years. This Koyo design revolutionized the small PLC market, and is still a good performer and a great value.
Three standard CPUs, including the D3-350 with PID control and two communication ports
5, 8 and 10 slot bases
110/220VAC or 24VDC power supply
AC, DC inputs
AC, DC, and relay outputs
8 or 12-bit analog input/output
Specialty modules include ASCII/BASIC module, high-speed counter, and communication interface module

DirectLOGIC 405
The DL405 product line packs a lot of power for its size and price. It has the widest variety of I/O modules and configurations of all our PLCs.
AC/DC discrete input/output, up to 64 points per module
10 amp relay out
12-bit and 16-bit analog inputs and outputs
Thermocouple and RTD inputs
Data communications, including serial and Ethernet modules
Counter input
Remote I/O master and slave modules
Ethernet I/O master and slave modules
New high-speed counter module
16 PID loops built in, up to 96 with option modules

Terminator I/O Module
Terminator I/O provides you with an industrial I/O system with remote I/O, distributed I/O and digital I/O module capabilities. It combines the I/O points with their field terminations into a modular package to save panel space and money. With Terminator I/O, you can use distributed I/O nodes close to field devices for faster and more efficient wiring and troubleshooting.
Terminator I/O was custom-designed by Koyo (the same people who designed the original GE Series One PLC), a trusted name in control technology since 1983.
Network interface modules supporting Ethernet, Profibus, DeviceNET, MODBUS and Koyo remote I/O; some adapters include an on-board RS232 serial port.
Discrete and analog industrial I/O modules with modular terminal bases
Configuration flexibility by plugging together a network interface module with up to 16 I/O modules.
Use local expansion for large I/O drops. No more confining I/O bases.
AC or DC power supplies. For high power systems, combine multiple supplies on a single I/O set.
Horizontal or vertical DIN rail mounting

Ethernet Products and Accessories
With an E-SW05U switching an isolated control LAN, your programmable logic controller (PLC) won't miss a beat.

At 10 or 100 Mbps Ethernet, your data will spend minimal "time-on the-wire" between your I/O and the controller. The E-SW05U, an Ethernet switch, automatically determines and remembers the devices connected to each port and routes messages only through the appropriate port. When directly connected to a full duplex device, the E-SW05U port automatically adopts full duplex operation, potentially doubling the bandwidth to that device.
The E-SW05U also provides broadcast storm protection with each node limited to no more than 25% of the available LAN bandwidth.

Signal Conditioners
Signal integrity starts with quality measurement and good equipment. However, even with the best equipment signals can be degraded if the equipment is not properly installed or is not protected by signal conditioners. Signal integrity can be greatly impacted by poor shielding and wiring practices. The biggest factor is ground loop errors (ground noise). Our signal conditioner products protect your expensive electronic equipment against ground loops with up to 1500 V of isolation.
Isolation is one way to eliminate ground loop errors caused by ground noise and other such problems. Isolation means using one of many electronic methods to interrupt the connections between two grounds while passing the correct signal with little or no loss of accuracy. Without a way for ground currents to flow, these currents can't induce signal errors.
